Destination Star Trek is coming to Birmingham for the first time, it has been confirmed.
Billed as Europe’s biggest celebration of the legendary TV series and films, stars of the show - including the iconic William Shatner - are set to descend on the NEC.
Guests from the original series will include William Shatner (Captain James T Kirk), George Takei (Hikaru Sulu), Walter Keonig (Ensign Pavel Chekov from series two) and Eddie Paskey (Lt Leslie, Star Trek), Bobby Clark (Gorn in original series episode ‘Arena’).
The event host will be Greg Grunberg, a producer and star of this year’s film Star Trek Beyond.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet the cast and production crew and to explore interactive exhibits at the event, which takes place from Friday, October 7 to Sunday, October 9, 2016.-read more
